Good rooms, workshop facilities and restaurant- the wellness area is also very nice. When the weather allows it the surroundings are great, check out the Storchennest nearby . Currently construction next to the hotel which is a bit too loud in the morning. Needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.
Overall not a bad hotel for such a small town. We had a nice two-room suite with a small kitchen. But place was clean and with windows open cool enough to sleep.

The Parkhotel is a rather new building with spacious, friendly rooms in the Franconian lake district. We had a cosy suite of rooms consisting of a large living room, a bedroom and a large, elegant bathroom. The food in the restaurant "Chicoree" was fabulous regardless of whether we ate à la carte or the proposed menue. The spa area features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a steam room, a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. The only downside is that the spa area is rather small for the number of guests the hotel can accomodate. We were lucky that the hotel was not fully booked when we were there.
Ate dinner at the restaurant -- traditional Franconian dishes, delicious. Spa is self-serve but costs; the pool doesn't cost extra but no towels. However, it is pretty with jets and a tree/cave decor. During your stay, take advantage of some of the amenities offered, including a 24 hour front desk, room service, and a gift shop.
The location is great and the included breakfast is quite good. As for the beds...they are quite stiff and not comfortable at all. The bathrooms are quite good with the exception of a poorly designed shower that makes half the bathroom wet while showering. When you get out of the shower you will be in a small pool of water. The pool area is quite nice however I did not get the chance to swim.
